The biography of any Saint is like an ocean, to compile and compose it in words is not the task of a poor creatures like us. The aim of this website is to ensure availability of Saint Tukavipra's literature for spiritual world. And this is dream and life of every member of Vipra Family.

In order to get the support of society for this work, we must bring “Saint Tukavipra and his literature" to the notice of society through different publicity medias. In this competitive world, a man is in the need of mental peace. And this peace can be obtained only through teachings of great peoples. Every human being has experienced this fact.

We owe to the society, Saint Tukavipra's literature, which is available with us. And to accept this, it is necessary for the intellectuals and the active people of our society to come forward.

Our forefathers have preserved the spiritual heritage produced by Saint Tukavipra for the welfare of mankind so far. In order to make this "Nectar Vessel" available to the society, I am requesting all the intellectuals, publishers and different publicity media to extend their support for this noble task.

Saint Tukavipra's incarnation means

I have not born by chance,
there is an Aim behind it.
I have to prove the Importance & necessity
of chanting Kirtan in the life of human beings
For this I have to complete resolution
of composing 1000 million hymns ,
and sing it for human beings bright future.
The work is started long back
when my soul was in Namdev’s incarnation.

When Saint Namdev heard in a religious meeting at Pandharpur from the mouth of Saint Dnyaneshwar that the two lettered word 'Ram' contained in Valmiki's 'Shatakoti Ramayana' has the power of making one's life fruitful. Saint Namdev became very sad, thinking that why such power does not exist in the name of my Lord Vitthal. He ran to the temple of Lord Vitthal and fell to his feet. He resolved to make the 'Vitthal' mantra very powerful by composing "Shatakoti Vitthalayan"(1000 Million Hymns on Lord Vitthala) similar to "Shatakoti Ramayana"(1000 Million Hymns on Lord Sree Ram)

The following hymn (translated from original Marathi hymn) from "Namdeva Gatha" tell us about the ‘Resolution of 1000 Million’

I heard stories on the bank of river Chandrabhaga
that Valmiki has composed 1000 million hymns for Lord Rama
Hearing this I felt ashamed about myself
that I have wasted my life without any use

I went to Lord Vitthal and requested Him
Valmiki has composed 1000 million hymns
If I am your true devotee, then please allow me
to compose 1000 million hymns for you

Lord Vitthal said the life span was longer that time
Now it is not the case, so I am helpless
Hearing this Saint Namdev said
I don’t know anything if I fail to complete this
I'll offer my tongue at your feet.

This resolution momentarily confused Lord Vitthal. He told Saint Dnyaneshwar who followed Saint Namdeva to the temple that the resolution of my beloved devotee has got to be fulfilled and at the same time the shorter life span of human being in Kaliyug has also to be kept in mind. You suggest some way out. Saint Dnyaneshwar replied to this "Oh, my king of Pandhari ! let this resolution be fulfilled in the third generation i.e. in the incarnation of Tukavipra". On hearing Saint Dnyaneshwar, Lord Vitthal said "Omen". Thus Saint Namdev's great resolution was fulfilled in Saint Tukavipra's incarnation.

Which are to complete resolution of composing
100 Koti (1000 Million) hymns on Lord Vitthal

94 Koti and 60 lakh (946 million) composed by Saint Namdeva
Out of remaining balance i.e. 05 Koti and 40 lakhs(Fifty Four Million) hymns
04 Koti, 38 Lakh, 75 thousand (43 Million 875 thousand) hymns composed by me (Saint Tukaram)
And composing of 01 lakh and 25 thousand (125 thousand) hymns ,
Will be completed on the banks of river Krishna by Saint Tukavipra

This is what saint Gyandev predicted at the time of resolution.
Gyandev also added, Namdev’s third Incarnation in Bramin Family
with name as Tukavipra, will be world famous
And will guide the whole world to wards peace of mind
Composer of this hymn (Saint Tukaram) says
I am proud that same soul lies in my body.

In reference to this, resolution Saint Tukavipra's following hymn confirms it.

94 Koti and 60 lakh (946 million) composed by Saint Namdeva
Balance 01 lakh and 25 thousand (125 thousand) hymns
from 05 Koti and 40 lakhs(Fifty Four Million) after Saint Tukaram
composed by me (Saint Tukavipra) by the grace of Lord Vitthal
I am thank full to lord Vitthal for his blessings
to fulfill this great resolution

Supreme Saint Namdev's three incarnations are the true forms of knowledge, devotion and renunciation.

Saint Namdev is the true form of knowledge who got the blessings from the king of knowledge, Saint Dnyandeva.

The ocean of devotion Saint Eknath's contemporary Saint Tukaram is the true form of devotion.

Sacrificing all worldly pleasures and became the devoted servant of Lord Rama Saint Ramdas's utmost devotee Saint Tukavipra is the true form of renunciation.
